And how do I know that? Because I did the same. I was her.
Slimming World. 5:2. Shakes. Low-calorie plans.
And maybe they worked… for a while. But the weight always came back.
Not because you didn’t try hard enough.
Not because you didn’t want it badly enough.
But because those programs were never designed to last.
Your coach, cheerleader, and strategist. I know what it’s like to chase every diet going (especially after years working in the fashion industry!). Trust I’ve tried them all. They gave me results for a few weeks, then left me stuck, frustrated, hangry, and right back at square one.
When I learned how to train and fuel my body properly, everything changed. I lost weight while eating more food than I ever thought possible. I discovered strength training, reshaped my body in ways I never imagined, and finally found a way to train that I genuinely enjoyed. I ditched the stop–start cycle for good.
I’ve maintained a 20kg weight loss for over six years — all while running a business and raising two wonderful children. Along the way, I’ve completed marathons, rebuilt my fitness after two major back surgeries, and discovered the power of training to transform not just my body, but my mindset and confidence too. Today, I’m in better shape than I was in my teens — proof that it’s never too late to feel strong, lean, and confident in your own skin.
